Mission Statement

My work is rooted in the belief that healing aligns and unfolds organically when holding clients in compassionate care and structure within a potent, but steady alchemical container.

I’m rooting for you— while keeping you rooted with both feet on the ground. I offer a grounded, depth-oriented therapeutic space for individuals navigating trauma, burnout, neurodivergence, chronic pain and struggles with adjusting to fit in to societal boxes. I encourage you and empower you to make your own box. Drawing from psychological rigor, ancestral wisdom, and a deep respect for the natural world, I help clients restore agency, clarity, and a sense of belonging—to themselves and to life.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of therapy do you offer?

I offer individual and family psychotherapy for clients ages 14–65, with a focus on trauma, burnout, moral injury, grief, climate anxiety, and existential or spiritual disorientation. I work with people navigating authority, leadership, and legacy—whether in professional, familial, or personal contexts. Sessions support self-understanding, emotional regulation, relational patterns, and mind–body integration.

What is your therapeutic approach?

My approach integrates structure and sanctuary: grounded, depth-oriented, and attuned to body, mind, and environment. I draw from mindfulness-based transpersonal therapy, somatic practices, parts work, and ecopsychology-informed perspectives. Therapy is paced, collaborative, and individualized, with attention to nervous system regulation, insight, and ethical care.

What training and modalities inform your work?

I am committed to ongoing training and professional development. I am trained in Hakomi mindfulness-based therapy, Jungian-informed parts work, Gestalt therapy, psychedelic integration therapy, somatic approaches including brainspotting and breathwork, and mindfulness-based transpersonal psychotherapy through Naropa University, Boulder, CO. I have 15+ years of contemplative training in the Theravada Buddhist Mahasi tradition in Burma. All work is evidence-informed and aligned with ethical and licensing standards.

Do you incorporate ancestry, intuition, or spiritual work?

Spiritual, symbolic, and ancestral work is a specialty of mine, developed through years of both formal therapeutic training and personal deepening in intuitive practices. I have been working with dreamwork, guided imagery, shamanic-style inquiry, and intuitive awareness for many years—beginning long before I became a licensed therapist—which allows me to hold a potent, informed, and safe container for exploration. Spiritual, symbolic, or ancestral work may be incorporated only with client consent and orientation. My experience helps clients access and strengthen their own intuitive capacities, uncover hidden gifts, and deepen mind-body awareness, all in a way that is grounded, ethically-informed, and aligned with their personal beliefs and clinical goals.

I am also experienced in unprompted or uninitiated spiritual awakenings, which can sometimes manifest as mysterious physical symptoms, autoimmune illness, emotional and existential crises. I help clients build grounded, practical frameworks to navigate these transitions safely, alongside medical treatment if necessary, integrating new insights and experiences into daily life while maintaining stability, clarity, and well-being.

Do you specialize in chronic pain or existential stress?

Yes. I support clients navigating chronic pain, moral injury, grief, displacement, climate anxiety, and loss of belonging. Work may involve mindfulness, body-based awareness, somatic practices, and acceptance-based approaches. Clients develop tools to relate differently to their experience, restore agency, and increase mind–body resilience.

Who do you typically work with?

I work with adults and caregivers navigating high responsibility, leadership, or legacy, including professionals, parents, and those recovering from trauma or burnout. I also work with sensitive, reflective, and ecologically aware clients who are navigating grief, dislocation, or a deep desire for meaning and connection. Clients may be exploring self-trust, purpose, or alignment with ecological and ancestral values.

How soon should I start to see changes?

Many clients notice shifts—sometimes subtle, sometimes profound—right from the first session, as the meeting of two conscious, attuned minds creates an immediate ripple of awareness and clarity. While deeper or long-standing patterns may take time to fully integrate, even the earliest sessions often bring insight, emotional relief, or a new perspective on challenges. Therapy is a co-created process, and my goal is to help clients begin building insight, autonomy, and frameworks for ongoing self-healing from the very start of our work together.

As mammals, we are naturally wired to organize in social groups or herds, relying on connection, attunement, and shared regulation for safety, learning, and growth. Just as differential equations can model complex, dynamic systems, our bodies and nervous systems follow subtle patterns of organization, constantly adapting to internal and external cues. Through mindful awareness and somatic exploration, a body’s innate wisdom can unlock and reorganize itself, restoring balance, resilience, and a higher level of integrated functioning. In therapy, we tap into this natural capacity, supporting the body and mind to self-regulate, attune to others, and move toward greater coherence and vitality.

Why is therapy valuable even when things aren’t “wrong”?

Therapy can be a resource for growth, alignment, and well-being, not just for crisis. Having skilled support helps clarify values, prevent entrenched patterns, and foster meaningful connection—to oneself, others, and the broader ecosystem. Therapy supports alignment with personal and ecological values while promoting resilience, clarity, and presence.

Expectations & Boundaries

Therapy is a collaborative, structured process guided by safety, ethics, and informed consent. Sessions are paced to support emotional regulation, nervous system capacity, and integration. My role is to provide guidance, structure, and a supportive container—not to give advice, make decisions, or create dependency. Clear boundaries and mutual respect are central to maintaining a safe, effective therapeutic space.

Values Statement

I hold a matriarchal, earth-rooted perspective: honoring ancestry, natural rhythms, and ecological interconnectedness. My work is guided by compassion, ethical rigor, and a commitment to social and environmental justice, including safe communities, inclusive schools, and care for neurodiverse and vulnerable populations. I integrate psychological insight, ancestral and contemplative wisdom, and nature-informed approaches to support alignment, clarity, and flourishing.
